Woodbury Roadwork Update: Construction Coming Soon

The city of Woodbury on Monday sent out an updated schedule for this year’s roadwork projects, noting that drivers should expect delays, especially during rush hours.
Woodbury DriveThe Woodbury Drive (County Road 19) project is expected to begin April 22.

Plans call for the road to be expanded from two lanes to four from Park Crossing south to Saint Ambrose. Roundabouts will be installed at Lake and Bailey roads.
Washington County is the lead agency on this project, which has a webpage dedicated to it.

The Radio Drive (County Road 13) expansion project is set to begin Wednesday, April 17.
The road will be expanded to four lanes from Bailey Road to Hargis Parkway. Woodbury is the lead agency on the project.
The alignment of the roundabout at Bailey Road and Radio Drive will also be changed toward the end of the project.
New SignalA traffic signal will be installed at Bailey Road (County Road 18) and Woodlane Drive. The joint city-county project is expected to start at the end of April.
The Pioneer Drive extension—from Hargis Parkway south about a half mile to Dale Road—is expected to begin Wednesday, April 17.
City ProjectsWoodbury neighborhoods that will see construction starting later this spring include:
- Tahoe Road, Carver Park Drive and Carver Park Circle;
- Woodlane Hills and Victoria Place;
- Glen Road (Century Avenue to Radio Drive); and
- Rolling Acres and Century Avenue (Kalen Drive to Military Road)

2013 Roadwork Projects for Woodbury
East Ridge High School on Tuesday sent out the following:
Effective April 18, significant road construction will take place on city and county roads that provide access to the ERHS campus. This construction will continue through July, and will prohibit access to campus from select access points. Please see detailed directions below for campus-specific traffic changes on the ERHS website at http://www.sowashco.k12.mn.us/ERHS/Parents/RoadConstrInfo/RoadCostru.asp
Over 1,000 vehicles access the ERHS campus on a typical school day. Your cooperation with the traffic changes, in accordance with your patience and flexibility, is appreciated. Campus and community staff members will be on site and visible at select roundabouts in order to assist as they are able. Please make necessary adjustments to your travel time expectations to and from East Ridge.
Access Summary
There will be no access from the west, via Hargis Parkway.
All campus traffic will be routed from the north, via Pioneer Drive.
Campus Access Directions
There are four primary groups of vehicles and drivers, including school busses, student drivers, school staff, and parent/guardians. In order to best manage the diverse needs of all parties, each group is asked to follow a specific route to and from campus. All vehicles will be asked to “loop” their route to and from campus. Please see explicit directions, as well as group-specific visual maps with arrows posted online at www.sowashco.k12.mn.us/ERHS
Student Drivers
Enter the student parking lot through the access road next to the tennis courts, to the west of the stadium.
Exit to the south/east corner of the student parking lot and go around the stadium before proceeding north on Pioneer.
Parent/Guardians
Enter campus either (1) through the access road next to the tennis courts, in between the gold fields, to the west of the stadium or (2) continue east around the stadium and then travel south to access the parent drop-off and pickup curve at the main entry.
Exit to the south/east and go around the stadium before proceeding north on Pioneer.
School Busses
Enter campus by traveling east around the stadium and then travel south to access the school bus lot.
Exit to the south/east and go around the stadium before proceeding north on Pioneer.
East Ridge Staff
Enter campus by traveling east around the stadium and then travel south to access the school bus lot.
Exit to the south/east and go around the stadium before proceeding north on Pioneer.
