• Frank Lloyd Wright house to open for tours once restored (northsidesun.com) — A Frank Lloyd Wright–designed home in Jackson’s Woodland Hills neighborhood will open for small-group tours once the Mississippi Museum of Art completes a major restoration, likely in early to mid-2027. City zoning approvals, neighborhood covenant changes, and private donors all helped secure Fountainhead’s future, turning the only Wright structure in Mississippi into a new cultural draw that will shuttle visitors from downtown Jackson.

• Jackson restaurant owner Bob Crechale dies (wapt.com) — Longtime Jackson restaurateur Bob Crechale, owner of Crechale’s Cafe on Highway 80, has died after recent intensive care following surgery. The family plans to reopen the beloved, three-generation restaurant on New Year’s Eve, while longer-term plans and funeral arrangements are still being decided.

• City of Ridgeland exploring whether fluoridation of drinking water should continue (northsidesun.com) — Ridgeland officials are weighing whether to keep adding fluoride to city drinking water, even as JXN Water continues fluoridation for Jackson residents. With supply costs, health guidance, and neighboring cities’ decisions in play, Ridgeland’s board has started a months-long review that will likely include a public hearing and comment period before any change is made.
