Missouri Day Care Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

The building was evacuated, parents were called and a bomb squad arrived before the scene was cleared, according to KOMU 8.

COLUMBIA, MO — A Columbia day care was evacuated Tuesday due to a bomb threat, according to KOMU 8.

Police determined there was no danger, KOMU 8 reported, adding authorities were notified of the threat about 12:15 p.m. at KinderCare in the 2400 block of West Ash Street. Law enforcement closed Ash Street at Heather Lane, the building was evacuated, parents were called and a bomb squad arrived before the scene was cleared, according to KOMU 8.

Columbia police did not immediately respond to a request for information.
