• County revenue, expenses down $14 million this year (myleaderpaper.com) — Jefferson County has approved a leaner $165.6 million budget for 2026, which will still fund key services but reflects slower revenue growth and internet sales tax limits. For Arnold residents, District 2 Councilman Billy Crow is pushing for a more transparent budget process, and planned 2026 road work includes improvements on Old Highway 141, Vogel Road and Seckman Road that affect local travel.
