• Herculaneum man allegedly steals canned air duster from Arnold Walmart (myleaderpaper.com) — Arnold Police recently responded to a shoplifting call at the Walmart on Michigan Avenue and found a Herculaneum man unconscious in an SUV after allegedly inhaling canned air duster. Officers revived him, say he resisted arrest, and he now faces summonses to appear in Arnold Municipal Court on alleged stealing and resisting charges. No injuries to officers were reported.
   

• County purchases park near Festus for soccer programs (myleaderpaper.com) — Jefferson County has purchased and renamed a former Baptist Park near Festus to anchor youth soccer programs, with Councilman Billy Crow of Arnold involved in the approval process. The 28-acre Christine Eoff Memorial Park will host affordable spring soccer for kids, with future plans for trails, more fields, and possibly a playground. Arnold families can already register children for the March–May season.
