Kansas City Missouri Police Officers Elizabeth Garza (Metro Patrol) and Josh Hartley (Police Athletic League) have answered the call to fight in a charity boxing match in honor of fallen Police Officers and Fire Fighters.

The Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission is hosting Guns N Hoses, a charity boxing event to help raise money for their Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund on Saturday, August 7th at 5:00pm.

This event will raise funds for the Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (SAFE). SAFE is a program that provides support to the families of first responders that are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. The funds raised by SAFE allow these families to be provided financial assistance within 24-48 hours following the loss of their loved one. Kansas City Guns N Hoses has grown into the primary fundraiser for SAFE.

This will be a huge event with a total of 20 boxing participants with ten scheduled bouts.
