Missouri Burger Joint Named One Of The Best In The Country

See which Kansas City diner made the list of best burger joints in the country.

KANSAS CITY, MO — America's long-running love affair with hamburgers isn't changing anytime soon, which is good news for a Kansas City diner recently voted as one of the top burger joints in the United States.

Town Topic Hamburgers has been in business in downtown Kansas City since 1937, and according to Thrillist, it's still "one of the finest renditions of a diner burger in America."

Even better, it costs less than $4. Admittedly, that's quite a bit more expensive than when founder Claude Sparkes began selling them for a nickle apiece in the late 30s, but it's still a pretty good deal.
