She’s staying on at a private practice while pursuing full licensure and a Registered Play Therapist credential, crediting strong faculty support, internships, and close-knit classmates for helping her persevere through nearly a decade of education.
   

3. Sedalia area police reports for Dec. 16 (sedaliademocrat.com) — Regional law enforcement logs include an arrest of a 42-year-old Lee’s Summit resident by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Saline County on suspicion of DWI after a lane violation crash. The broader report details multiple recent arrests and incidents handled by Sedalia Police, Pettis County deputies, and troopers across nearby counties, highlighting ongoing traffic and property crime enforcement in the area.
   

4. Starting Missouri football wide receiver to enter transfer portal (columbiatribune.com) — Lee’s Summit native Joshua Manning, a starting wide receiver for Missouri, plans to enter the college football transfer portal when it opens January 2, leaving Mizzou after a season as one of its most-used receivers. His decision makes him the first starter, and fifth Tiger overall, to seek a transfer this offseason, as the team faces broader roster and coaching changes.
