• Owner of Mo. towing business admits to mail fraud scheme (stjosephpost.com) — A Springfield towing business owner has admitted in federal court to a mail fraud scheme involving stolen vehicles and forged documents sent to the Missouri Department of Revenue. Prosecutors say 75-year-old Dennis Cleveland, of Affordable Towing, directed employees to obtain fraudulent liens and titles so he could sell or scrap cars and keep the proceeds. He now faces the possibility of decades in federal prison at a future sentencing hearing.

• Midwesterners set the pace early at Golfweek Senior TOC (usatoday.com) — Springfield’s own Sean McQueary is tied for the lead at the Golfweek Senior Tournament of Champions after a spectacular hole-in-one on PGA National’s Champion Course. The past Missouri Senior Amateur champion carded a 3-under 69, leading a strong Midwestern showing as players from Iowa and Missouri crowd the top of multiple division leaderboards.

• Missouri Lottery Powerball, Pick 3 winning numbers for Dec. 13, 2025 (news-leader.com) — Missouri Lottery players can now check the full set of winning numbers from the Dec. 13 drawings, including Powerball, Pick 3, Pick 4, Cash4Life, Cash Pop, and Show Me Cash. Springfield-area winners of prizes over $600 can claim in person at the regional lottery office or by mailing in the required forms and identification.
