- Two St. Louis women found out they were being cheated on, by the same man, through TikTok. Sophia Marren, 26, made a TikTok in March 2021 about her date night with her boyfriend, which popped up on 25-year-old Liesel Julsrud's For You Page, where she saw the man she had been seeing for five months in his kitchen cooking dinner for another woman. Julsrud took her sobbing boyfriend back when he claimed he had stopped seeing Marren. Julsrud made a TikTok on Jan. 12 this year about the finding after she and her boyfriend broke up. The TikTok led to the women grabbing a drink and becoming friends over the situation. (Riverfront Times)
- A woman was shot yesterday during an attempted carjacking in the city's Bevo neighborhood. The 43-year-old woman, hospitalized with a gunshot wound, said a man approached her car and pointed a handgun at her. When the victim began to drive off, the suspect fired shots, and she was struck in the shoulder. The investigation is ongoing, and as of Wednesday afternoon, a suspect had not been identified. - St. Louis Public Schools District is still struggling with a shortage of bus drivers. Deputy Superintendent of Operations Square Watson says the district's routes are being covered, but they are about 20-30 drivers short of being fully staffed. Watson said routes are being covered by paying the drivers they do have for overtime. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
