  1. Tim Pickett, a St. Louis entrepreneur, is making cannabis shopping easier with GreenFrame, a tool that allows shoppers to scan a QR code to explore various strains of cannabis. The app provides a 3D version of the strain, along with information about the taste and effects and the genetics. Pickett was inspired to create GreenFrame after thinking about how he could help dispensaries and cannabis retail get information out to consumers and budtenders. (KSDK.com)
  2. Police warn of ID theft after St. Louis County mail was stolen from more than half a dozen homes, and they are currently working with USPS to continue the investigation. An HVAC check was stolen for $1,000, which the thieves changed to $3,000 before they cashed it and stole the money. A Laude resident stated, "somebody was walking the dog and stopped by the neighbor's mailbox, and he was fiddling with it." (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. A video from the St. Louis County Justice Center revealed that staff ignored a dying inmate and attempted a cover-up. Jo'von Mitchell, 31, was visibly unwell on Christmas Day in 2019. An internal jail report documented that he received a medical evaluation by a nurse in the morning and then was taken back to his cell. Mitchell's cellmate tried to get him help. Still, after about five hours, he became unresponsive, and the medical examiners ruled it was due to a brain bleed – though the report was fabricated by the guard, according to an internal affairs investigation.
