- A video of a woman beating a St. Louis familyβs door with a hammer while making racist threats has gone viral on TikTok. Fatima Suarez, 22, her parents, and her five-year-old sister live on Lisette Avenue. Suarez said the family has been trying to stop the woman from making racists threats against them for more than a year. According to the St. Louis Circuit Attorneyβs Office, an arrest warrant for the woman has sat unresolved in a drop-off box for nonviolent crimes for more than a year. On Feb. 7, Circuit Attorney Kim Gardnerβs office said they have βelevatedβ the application for an immediate review. (Stltoday.com)
- Yesterday, Feb. 8, a woman was found dead in the backyard of a North City home. St. Louis police responded to a call about a shooting at a home on the 5100 block of Maffitt when they found the woman. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the incident. (KMOV4)
- Police pursued a vehicle from St. Charles County to Spanish Lake yesterday, Feb. 8. Authorities said the car crashed on Interstate 270 at Bellefontaine Road after driving over spike strips on the Blanchette Bridge. Police are investigating the chase and crash. (KMOV4)

- St. Louis Regional Bomb and Arson detectives are investigating a fatal house fire on the 1200 block of Wachtel Avenue. Yesterday, Feb. 8, St. Louis County Police officers arrived to find the home engulfed in flames and could not make an entry; the fire resulted in the death of an adult male and an adult female. - Yesterday, Feb. 8, Emerson Electric announced it would keep its headquarters in St. Louis. In October, the company announced the sale of its headquarters in St. Louis and would search both within and outside the city for new headquarters. President and CEO Lal Karsanbhai said the company is looking for an βappropriate locationβ in St. Louis for its new headquarters. (KSDK)
