Here are the top three stories today in Billings:

  1. Billings Logan International Airport has opened a new food court with three restaurants: Logan's, Cinnabon, and Stacked. The restaurants' menus are similar to those found in big city airports. Stacked's owner hopes that the restaurant's presence at the airport will introduce visitors to other businesses in Billings. (Q2 News)
  2. The Montana Department of Transportation has started a construction project on the Underpass Avenue/State Avenue and 6th Street West/Central Avenue intersections to enhance traffic operations and safety in Billings. The project includes new traffic signals, lighting, storm drain, signage, and pedestrian facilities. Several traffic closures will occur during the construction, including the closure of the Underpass Avenue south of State Avenue intersection and the Underpass Ave/Calhoun Lane intersection. 3. Real estate agent Alyssa Webb, based in Billings, encountered an intruder when she was showing a house virtually, which was a first for her after five years of selling homes. She believes that the intruder may have broken into the home after seeing the For Sale sign out front and got in through a broken window. Webb suggested that For Sale signs should be taken away for safety and hopes her experience will serve as a warning to others. (Q2 News)
