Q2 AOW: MSU Billings' Kyla Momberg thriving after year away from basketball (montanasports.com) — MSU Billings women’s basketball is leaning on local talent, including new standout guard Kyla Momberg, who’s leading the Yellowjackets in scoring after a year away from the game. The team, now 4-7, hosts Lethbridge Polytechnic at home this Saturday, giving Billings fans a chance to see Momberg’s impact and the program’s culture-focused approach up close.

Worker: Mail exposed to snow and rain at Billings post office (ktvq.com) — An anonymous employee’s complaint about unsafe, icy conditions and exposed mail at the downtown Billings post office prompted a USPS review and quick improvements. Q2's Adopt a Family program still seeking donations for 4 families (ktvq.com) — Billings residents still have a chance to brighten the holidays for four local families through KTVQ’s new Adopt a Family program, with donations due Friday, Dec. 12. Gifts and winter gear can be dropped off at KTVQ’s downtown Billings office or Kirkness Roofing, and you can choose to support an entire family or just one member’s wish list.

DeShaw is breaking down stigma through music (choteauacantha.com) — A statewide mental health and music initiative recently brought Helena singer Jason DeShaw to a Montana Wool Growers conference in Billings, sharing a candid story of recovery with local ag producers. His program, backed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana, tackles suicide risk and stigma in farming communities while offering practical hope and resource links that Billings-area ranchers and farmers can still use.
