  1. The City of Missoula has kicked off a series of informal public meetings designed to give members of the community a chance to speak with city staff and Mayor Jordan Hess. The goal is to remove barriers for the public to be able to access their local government officials. The first event was held at Boyd Park, and a city spokesperson said it was a success. The next City Chat will be held on Jun. 22 at Franklin Park. (NBC Montana)

Police received a 911 call about a person under a tree in the area of McCormick and Silver Parks. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene. The Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner's Office is investigating, although foul play is not suspected. The victim's identity and cause of death have not been released as of Wednesday. (NBC Montana)
  3. The proposed Master Plan for Marshall Mountain Park is now available for public review. The plan includes feedback from local residents and covers safety improvements, public access, and long-term development opportunities.
