• John Howard Heitstuman (thefallonpost.org) — Family and friends in Fallon are mourning the passing of 80-year-old John Howard Heitstuman, a longtime Navy veteran and former Idaho mayor who settled here with his wife Karen in 2002. He was active for over two decades at Gospel Light Baptist Church, leaves close family in Fallon and Fernley, and will be remembered at a celebration of life to be scheduled later.
