Aircraft Catches Fire At Nellis Air Fore Base
The "incident" happened during takeoff at Nellis Air Force Base.

LAS VEGAS, NV — A military aircraft had to abort takeoff at Nellis Air Force Base Saturday and subsequently caught on fire, officials said.
The incident was reported at 10:45 a.m., base officials said. No serious injuries were reported.
Emergency officials are on scene. The cause of the incident is under investigation.

The aircraft, a EA-18G Growler, belonged to the Australian Air Force. The incident took place during Red Flag, a three week air-to-air combat training exercise that began Friday.
"The exercise typically involves a variety of attack, fighter and bomber aircraft as well as participants from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Air Force," base officials said in a news release announcing the training.
