  1. Las Vegas residents are encouraged to update their Apple devices. According to the software company, serious security vulnerabilities for iPhones, iPads, and Macs have been identified. The vulnerabilities may have been exploited already. Spyware companies may have used the security flaws to siphon data from Apple devices. (KDWN)
  2. A Las Vegas man pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges related to the shooting at the Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church. David Chou, 68, has been accused of killing a 52-year-old doctor and wounding five others during the incident. Authorities have stated the shooting was motivated by Chou's hatred of Taiwan. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  3. Cowabunga Bay is rewarding students with A's on their most recent report card with free admission between Aug. 23 and Aug. 25. Parents can enter the parks by paying a discounted entry rate of $19.99 during the promotion. The waterparks are located on Galleria Drive in Henderson and S. Apache Road in the southwest valley.
