- The Southern Nevada Water Authority is implementing a number of water-saving measures in Las Vegas. The measures include banning mega-pools, reclaiming all indoor water, limiting the Vegas Strip's water use, removing non-functional grass, and restricting irrigation schedules. - Las Vegas' Yaw Farm Coffee Roaster has been ranked first place by Yelp's list of the 100 best java shops in the country. The coffee shop is known for its roasted specialty beans sourced from small farms. The shop uses natural mountain spring water in its brews. (News3LV)
- The National Weather Service has extended the excessive heat warning to Wednesday. Residents are encouraged to limit outdoor exposure, hydrate, and wear loose clothing. The temperatures are expected to remain eight to 12 degrees higher than normal. The temperatures will drop closer to the weekend. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
