Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- A recent report ranks Las Vegas as the 3rd best city for dog lovers. LawnStarter compiled the report using 24 key indicators of a city's dog-friendliness. Las Vegas can celebrate the ranking during today's National Dog Day celebration. Click to view the full report. (News3LV)
- Clark County is converting a Las Vegas motel into homeless housing through its BETterment program. The program will assist the roughly 3,900 people experiencing homelessness in the county. The Safari Motel will be used to house some of the individuals on the county's waitlist. Individuals will not have to be clean of drugs to utilize the new housing. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- A new Christmas-themed immersive experience is coming to Las Vegas. The "Nutcracker" experience is developed by the group behind "Immersive Van Gogh.” The experience will feature Tchaikovsky music and 1 million frames of video. Tickets are currently on sale at this link. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
