- A dust alert was given by the Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability yesterday due to high levels of dust in the air. The high dust levels will impact sensitive groups. The air was rated unhealthy or very unhealthy around 11:30 a.m. on Friday. The increased dust also caused visibility issues at the North Las Vegas Airport on Thursday evening. - Clark County Schools will not be in session on Monday. The closures are due to Staff Development Day for the district's educators. Classes will resume on Tuesday. Click for the 2022-2023 school calendar. (Press Release Desk)
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department warns residents about an uptick in Northeast Valley crime. The department is encouraging residents to avoid the area. The department's Facebook post specifically recommends against congregating in the desert area near the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Arnona Road. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
