🌱 Home Prices Continue To Fall + Slim Chickens Expansion

Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

1. Home prices in Las Vegas have fallen for the 3rd month in a row. The median home price is down about 3.2 percent from July, according to Las Vegas Realtors. May was the all-time record at $482,000. The decline is reportedly due to an increase in homes hitting the market while fewer homes are being sold. (News3LV)
2. Slim Chickens has announced an expansion into the Las Vegas area. The fast-casual chicken chain is based in Fayetteville, AR. The expansion plan includes the opening of 15 new locations by franchisee Dennis Ekstrom. According to Ekstrom, the first two locations will open in 2023. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
3. Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles Police have arrested Las Vegas' Chad Anthony Livingston-Cook, 23, for allegedly selling a stolen vehicle online. Livingston-Cook was arrested on Aug. 26 for selling a 2015 Mercedes Benz C300 on OfferUp for $14,000 cash. The department is urging anyone that believes they might have been the victim of a fraudulent vehicle sales scam to come forward. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
