Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is trying to identify human remains found in a parked car at a Central Las Vegas apartment complex. The department responded to a report of a foul odor emitting from the vehicle on Friday. The decomposed body was located in the vehicle's trunk. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the department. (Elko Daily Free Press)
- Marijuana consumption lounges in Las Vegas have been delayed due to regulatory delays. Clark County delayed the conversation for another month while the City of Las Vegas will not discuss the issue till Oct. The commissioners are reportedly stuck on lounge locations, operating hours, and smell prevention. (Las Vegas Sun)
- Las Vegas' Rocksprings Dental Group provided free dental services to veterans on Saturday. The free services were part of the group's Smile Generation Serve Day, and made possible through a partnership between Adopt-A-Vet Dental Program and Rocksprings Dental Group. Only five percent of veterans qualify for dental services through the VA. (News3LV)
