Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. A new petition has been created to make an official Nevada license plate featuring a Las Vegas Aces theme. The Nevada DMV reports that for the license plate to become a reality, the Las Vegas Aces will need to submit a formal request or get the Nevada legislature to approve the proposal. Click to add your name to the petition. (News3LV.com)
  2. The City of Las Vegas has started the second phase of its construction project at the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center. The first phase of the project was completed in December of 2021. The second phase is meant to provide additional services to the city's homeless population such as additional showers, storage space, and laundry services. (Fox 5 Vegas)
  3. During a press conference in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nevada's Governor Steve Sisolak unveiled a new statewide prescription discount card program. The card will be called ArrayRX and will hopefully allow residents to save an average of 80 percent on generic prescriptions. Brand name drugs will have an average of 20 percent savings with the card. The program is complimentary for Nevada residents. (Subscription: Las Vegas Sun)
