Las Vegas Inmate With Tattoos On Face Missing

LAS VEGAS, NV -- An inmate with noticeable tattoos on his face was reported missing Saturday evening from the Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp, about 30 miles north of Las Vegas. Jeffrey Pimental was reported missing about 6 p.m., Nevada Department of Corrections officials said.

Officials said they believe Pimental escaped from the prison and was picked up by a driver.

Pimental began serving his sentence in April after being convicted for battery with a deadly weapon.

Pimental is described as Hispanic, 5'9, 180 pounds with brown eyes, dark brown hair and is heavily tattooed over his body including his face. He was last seen wearing prison blue denim pants with a blue shirt and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Pimental is asked to call 911 or their local law enforcement agency.
