Las Vegas Shooting Victims: Stories Of The Lives Lost
These are the victims of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history and what we know about them.

LAS VEGAS, NV — Authorities have identified all victims of the massacre at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas. A total of 58 people were killed and hundreds others were injured by the gunfire that came from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, which overlooked the music festival.
The Clark County Coroner's Office officially released the names of the victims late Thursday night though most had been identified by friends and families in the days since the deadliest mass shooting in United States history.
Among the victims was a Navy veteran, a wrestling coach, an off-duty police officer, a fisherman and a school teacher. These are the victims and what we know about them:

Hannah Lassette Ahlers, 34
Ahlers was married with three children. A GoFundMe page for Ahlers described her as "beautiful, loving, caring, full of joy."

Heather Lorraine Alvarado, 35
Alvarado was an in-home day car center operator and mother of three from Utah. She drove for three hours from her southern Utah home to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway and to take her daughter to a country music festival.

Dorene Anderson, 49
Anderson was a stay-at-home wife and mom who had a passion for the recently disbanded Alaska Aces minor league hockey. Anderson was a member of the Aces' "Cowbell Crew."
Carrie Rae, Barnette, 34
Barnette bought a home in California last year and worked at a cafe at Disney's California Adventure theme park. Barnette had been a member of the Disney California Adventure culinary team for ten years and was beloved by her friends and colleagues, Walt Disney Co. Chairman and CEO Robert Iger said in a statement.

Jack Reginald Beaton, 54
A resident of Bakersfield, California, Beaton died the night of his 23rd wedding anniversary, according to his obituary on Legacy.com. "He loved working outdoors and the sense of accomplishment he received by doing quality work," his obituary states. He leaves behind a daughter and a son.
Stephen Richard Berger, 44
Berger was attending the concert in celebration of his 44th birthday. WTMJ reported. He was the father of three children and his mother Mary Berger said Steve was "fun-loving with a serious side and a hard worker."

Candice Ryan Bowers, 49
Bowers lived in Orange County, California and worked as a waitress. She has two children, aged 16 and 20. According to the Orange County Register, Bowers adopted her 2-year-old niece in May. "Candice left this world doing what she loved, dancing to country music among loved ones," said the organizer of her fundraiser for funeral and her children's expenses.

Denise Burditus, 50
Burditus' husband, Tony Burditus, said he knew his wife's wounds were fatal. "Denise's wounds were fatal, I knew that," Burditus told local news channel WSAZ in West Virginia. "But she wouldn't stop fighting and I wouldn't leave her. I wouldn't quit on her."
The couple had been married for 32 years. Denise was a mother of two and a soon to be grandmother of five.
Sandra 'Sandy' Casey, 34
A special education teacher, Casey worked at the Manhattan Beach Unified School District in California for nine years. "We lost a spectacular teacher who devoted her life to helping some of our most needy students," Superintendent Mike Matthews said in a statement.

Andrea Lee Anna Castilla, 28
Castilla was in Las Vegas celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend, her sister and her sister's fiancé. According to a GoFundMe page established by her aunt, Castilla was shot in the head.

Denise Cohen, 58
Cohen was at the concert with Bo Taylor, another victim of the shooting. “With heavy heart, I have just confirmed the unbelievable news that Denise Cohen and Bo Taylor did not survive this horrific tragedy," a friend of Cohen and Taylor, Leana Orsua, wrote on Facebook, The San Luis Obispo Tribune reported.
Austin Williams Davis, 29
A pipefitter from Riverside, California, he was attending the concert with friends. His girlfriend, Aubree Hennigan, had pleaded for help finding him after the shooting, but later confirmed that Davis was among the dead. "Tonight we lost an amazing man," she wrote on Facebook. "Austin, my love, I can't believe this happened. You didn't deserve this."

Thomas Day Jr., 54
A homebuilder, Day attended the concert with all four of his children. "He was the best dad," his father, Thomas Day Sr., told the Los Angeles Times. "That's why the kids were with him."
Christian Duarte, 22
Duarte was attending the concert with her brother's girlfriend. She was initially reported missing following the shooting, but friends told the Daily Breeze Tuesday she had been confirmed dead. She is the daughter of L.A. County Deputy District Attorney Michael Duarte and sister of Chicago White Sox minor league baseball player Mikey Duarte, according to reports.

Stacee Etcheber, 50
The wife of a San Francisco police officer was confirmed dead Tuesday morning. Echeber attended the music festival with her husband, Vincent Etcheber. She leaves behind two children.

Brian S. Fraser, 39
A mortgage sales manager, Fraser was described as "bigger-than-life." A memorial page for him said Fraser was having the time of his life with his family at the concert and made his way closer to the stage for his favorite Jason Aldean song when he was shot.

Keri Galvan, 31
A GoFundMe page described her as a "devoted wife and mother." She was at the concert with her husband and friends. She had three children aged 10, 4 and 2.

Dana Leann Gardner, 52
Gardner was a deputy recorder-county clerk in San Bernardino, where she had worked since 1991, KPCC reported. She attended the concert with one of her daughters.
Angela C. Gomez, 20
A 2015 high school graduate of Poly High in Riverside, California. She was also known as "Angie," and the school district said she was remembered as a "fun-loving young lady with a great sense of humor."

Rocio Guillen, 40
Guillen had just given birth to her fourth child. Her ex-husband expressed his pain on Facebook, writing, "Words cannot explain how much is hurts me to see the pain in my boys' eyes when they found out that their mom was taken from them last night in Las Vegas by a senseless act of violence."

Charleston Hartfield, 34
A Las Vegas police officer, he was off-duty at the time of the shooting. Hartfield was also a youth football coach. He went by "Chuck" or "Charles" and even "Chucky Hart." He was known as a selfless, respected leader who brought out the best in players.

Christopher Hazencomb, 44
A GoFundMe organized for Hazencomb described him as "a very kind man that everyone loved dearly."

Jennifer Topaz Irvine, 42
A family law and criminal defense attorney in San Diego, she was apparently "holding hands with her girlfriends singing and dancing to country music when she was shot in the head."
Teresa Nicol Kimura, 38
Kimura was known for her "infectious laugh" and "vivacious personality," The Orange County Register reported. She is survived by her parents and a sister. A friend who organized a GoFundMe page for Kimura said that "if you didn't know her, you missed out on a better life than the one you have."

Jessica Klymuch, 34
Klymuch lived in Alberta, Canada with her fiancé Brent and her four children, according to a YouCaring page created for donations. "She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and daughter," the page says. "She was a respected member of the community & the catholic school division."
Carly Anne Kreibaum, 33
Kreibaum was from Iowa and a mother of two. Kreibaum's husband, Chris, posted on his Facebook page early Tuesday morning that he was heading to Las Vegas to try to locate her since she had not been heard from since the shooting. She was later confirmed dead.
Rhonda M. LeRocque, 42
LaRecoque was an active member of the Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Natick, Massachusetts. A member of the church described her as "the sweetest person" and one who "set a fine example for many people." She was attending the concert with her husband, Jason, and their 6-year-old daughter, Fox 25 Boston reported.

Victor L. Link, 55
Link had just returned from Europe with his fiance, and was enjoying the Route 91 Harvest Festival concert with his fiance, Lynn Gonzales and longtime friends, Rob and Lesley Wedlock, when he was shot and killed during the Jason Aldean concert on Sunday.

Jordan McIldoon, 24
McIldoon would have turned 24 on Friday. He was a month shy of finishing his training as a heavy-duty mechanic, The Toronto Star reported. He was one of three Canadians killed in the shooting. McIldoon dies in another concertgoer's arms.
“I am with a young man who died in my arms! RIP Jordan McIldoon from British Columbia,” Heather Gooze wrote no Facebook.
Kelsey Breanne Meadows, 28
Meadows was from Taft, California. Her family shared the news of her death "with an absolutely shattered heart," Bakersfield Now reported. A vigil was held for her at her local high school where she taught as a substitute teacher.
“Kelsey was smart, compassionate and kind. She had a sweet spirit and a love for children. Words cannot adequately capture the sorrow felt by her students, colleagues and friends in learning of her passing," Taft Union High School principal said in a statement.
Calla-Marie Medig, 28
Medig came from the small Canadian town of Jasper, Alberta. “My heart is numb knowing such a tragedy struck our small community,” Tessa Mac wrote in a Facebook post, as The Toronto Star reported. “Heaven is an even brighter place now that they have you Calla.”
James Melton, 29
A nurse at at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Tennessee, Melton was at the concert with his wife, Heather Gulish Melton. Gulish Melton wrote on Facebook she lost her “true love and knight in shining armor."
Patricia Mestas, 67
Mestas was a lover of country music and traveled to Vegas from California to see her favorite musician, Jason Aldean. Mestas' cousin, Tom Smith, said in an interview with USA TODAY that she was "always eager to make the most of a moment." She had three children, eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Austin Cooper Meyer, 24
Meyer was from the Monterey area of California. "Austin was attending the festival with his girlfriend, Dana, as a surprise celebrating his 24th birthday and upcoming anniversary," his sister, Veronica Meyer, told KSBW.
He had recently moved to Reno, Nevada and was attending community college to earn a degree in transportation technologies. His sister said he had dreams of opening his own auto repair shop after graduation and was excited to start a family.
Adrian Allan Murfitt, 35
A commercial fisherman from Anchorage, Alaska, Murfitt was also a former competitive hockey player. He "was happy to pay some things off and had made some really good money and decided to go out and celebrate and go to the concert and treat himself to something nice and fun," his sister, Shannon Gothard, told The Associated Press.

Rachael Kathleen Parker, 33
A records technician for the Manhattan Beach Police Department, Rachael Parker was killed in the shooting. Parker was one of four of the department's employees attending the concert. "She was employed with the Manhattan Beach Police Department for 10 years and will be greatly missed," according to the department.

Jennifer Parks, 36
A kindergarten teacher from Lancaster, California, Parks was at the concert with her husband who was shot in the arm during the shooting. A memorial page established for her says Parks was "a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, teacher and so much more."

Carolyn Lee Parsons, 31
Parsons was a huge fan of the country artist Eric Church, who she was able to see at the Route 91 festival on Friday. Colby Rezayat, a high school friend, described a lunch the two shared a few years ago as "a gift" to his heart in a Facebook post.
Lisa Marie Patterson, 46
Patterson was married with three children. Her husband, Bob, told reporters in Las Vegas the couple had been together for more than 30 years.

John Joseph Phippen, 56
Phippen owned a remodeling company and attending the concert with his son Travis who was shot in the arm but helped treat more than a dozen wounded people in the crowd. "He was my best friend," Travis told The Los Angeles Times about his father. "He never did anything wrong to anybody. He was always kind and gentle."

Melissa V. Ramirez, 26
Ramirez graduated from Cal State Bakersfield in 2014 with a degree in business administration. She lived in North Hollywood and worked for the Automobile Club of Southern California.

Jordyn N. Rivera, 21
Rivera was attending Cal State San Bernardino, where she was studying health-care management. "I personally got a chance to know her when we spent time together last summer in London during the summer abroad program," CSUSB President Tomas Morales wrote in an email to students. "As one of her faculty members noted, we will remember and treasure her for her warmth, optimism, energy and kindness."
Quinton Robbins, 20
Robbins likely died within seconds after he was struck by the bullet. The young man was searching for a spot where he and his girlfriend could seek shelter.

Cameron Robinson, 28
A native of Utah, Robinson worked as a records specialist for the city of Las Vegas. He was looking forward to the festival with his boyfriend, Bobby Eardley, for days, said friend and colleague Brad Jerbic.
Tara Ann Roe, 34
Lisa Romero-Muniz, 48
Christopher Louis Roybal, 28
A U.S. Navy veteran from Corona, California. Roybal had been in the Navy for a decade and had recently finished a tour of duty in Afghanistan, according to social media and other reports. He was set to celebrate his 29th birthday next week.

Susan Smith, 53
Smith worked for the school district in Simi Valley, California for 16 years. "This week, our community suffered a terrible, tragic loss when Susan Smith, the office manager at Vista Elementary School, was shot and killed during the Las Vegas shooting," the school district said in a statement. "Mrs. Smith was a dedicated member of our Simi Schools family for more than 16 years, and also served for many years on the Simi Valley PTA/PTSA when her children were younger. We grieve with her loved ones over her loss, and hold the entire Vista community in our hearts."
Brennan Lee Stewart, 30
A local musician, who played guitar and wrote his own songs Stewart used his body to protect his girlfriend in the rampage. Now, tens of thousands are watching Brennan Stewart sing on Facebook, including more than 138,000 people viewing him singing "You Should Be Here" by Cole Swindell. That video, posted Oct. 4, 2016, has more than 1,200 shares and nearly 100 comments from people expressing condolences.

Derrick Dean Taylor, 56
Neysa C. Tonks, 46
A mother of three, Tonks worked for a technology solutions company in Las Vegas. Her employer, Technologent Inc., remembered her as a "great mother, colleague and friend."
Michelle Vo, 32
Originally from Northern California, Vo was currently working in the Los Angeles area. Vo was a Golden State Warriors fan who had traveled to destinations such as Europe and Mexico and had studied abroad in London, her social media profiles show. Professionally, she was a licensed agent for New York Life Insurance Company and had recently joined the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce.
Kurt Allen Von Tillow, 55
Von Tillow, of Torrington, Connecticut, was attending the concert with family members. The family had met up at the concert for the past four years.
William W. Wolfe Jr., 42
A wrestling coach from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Wolfe was at the concert with his wife, Robyn. During the chaos, Wolfe was separated from his wife. His family had been awaiting word on his condition, PennLive.com reported.
