Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that a missing 16-year-old girl has been located. On Sunday, the department had asked the community for assistance in locating Vanya Garcia, who had not been seen since the day prior. On Monday, the department announced that Garcia had been located, and thanked the Las Vegas community for their help in finding the missing teen. (KTNV)
- On Saturday, Gov. Steve Sisolak and Republican candidate Joe Lombardo debated each other at a studio in Las Vegas. Both candidates agreed that the 2020 election was not stolen and that former President Trump's false claims hurt election confidence. The two debated about education, taxes, inflation, and abortion in a discussion organized by Nevada Independent news organization. The election is on Nov. 8. (NBC News)
