NEVADA -- Do you need a job this holiday season? Try your nearby Macy's for a gig. The national retail company announced recently that it will hire 7,000 employees with 80 positions in Nevada.

The jobs, which include both full-time and part-time employment, including serving customers on the sales floor and working on in-store operations, according to a company press release.

"Due to the strong traffic in our stores, we are adding associates in our stores across the country to ensure that customers continue to receive the high level of service they have come to expect from us," said John Harper, Macy's chief stores officer, in the press release. "We are excited to be further expanding our seasonal workforce."

Harper said the company offers competitive pay and is flexible with one's availability.
