  1. A new plant-based chicken sandwich chain is moving into Las Vegas. Project Pollo is opening a location on W. Sahara Ave this fall. The chain offers a selection of plant-based burgers and chicken sandwiches coupled with southern-style sides. Click to review the chain's menu. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  2. A massive art sculpture decades in the making is now open for public viewing. The installation titled "City" is 1.5 miles long in the Nevada desert north of Las Vegas. Michael Heizer created the sculpture and has been working on it since the 1970s. Heizer personally funded the project with the aid of donations accepted from various institutions. (News3)
  3. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and various community groups stepped up to assist residents of the Desert Garden Condominiums during a change in property management. The residents were told they must move out. The police department's community-oriented policing team worked with the residents to find temporary housing. The department assisted about 92 individuals from the complex's 148 units. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
