  1. A Las Vegas-based podcaster is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of beloved rapper Tupac Shakur. He was murdered in Las Vegas on Sep. 7, 1996. The Problem Solvers podcast has also offered reward money for information related to the bodies located at Lake Mead this summer. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  2. Las Vegas' Founders Coffee has started a new program aimed at supporting students. The "Giving Drinks Program" gives $1 to support local schools for each specially tailored drink ordered during the promotion. This month's drink is the "Teachers Pet" — a vanilla cold brew with apple cold foam and caramel drizzle. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
  3. Nevada corrections officers are now facing charges in connection with the Las Vegas area Southern Desert Correctional Center riots from Dec. 2021. According to the charges, two officers used unnecessary force on an inmate, who lost consciousness during the incident. The Nevada Department of Corrections downplayed the riots as a "disturbance" at first. (8 News Now)
