- A downtown Las Vegas business owner is offering to put packages on hold for customers. Walter Buchanan reports that his business in the Las Vegas Arts District is a possible solution to the persistent problem of package theft occurring in the region. He charges $5 for the service. Individuals with medications arriving in the mail are finding the service incredibly useful. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- University of Nevada, Las Vegas students have returned to class. The Fall 2022 semester officially began on Monday. The classes will feature roughly 30,000 students — one of the highest enrollments in the campus' history. This year, 75 percent of classes will be held in person. (News3LV)
- Mountain Dew is offering fans a chance to marry a can of alcoholic Mountain Dew. The winner of the company-sponsored social media contest will be flown to Las Vegas to marry the 'Hard Mtn Dew' can at The Little Vegas Chapel. The newlyweds will get a two-night stay at a Las Vegas hotel suite and a wedding reception. There is also a $1,000 prize. (News3LV)
