- A Nevada resident scored big in Reno on Monday evening. The lucky resident won $1.2 million at the Grand Sierra Resort when they wagered four dollars on Aristocrat's Buffalo Diamond. The win was the second over a million within the last year at the Reno resort. (KRNV)
- The Reno Justice Court was evacuated on Tuesday morning after 7:00 a.m. The evacuation at the South Sierra Street building was due to a reported natural gas leak. The evacuation precaution was lifted a few hours later. (KOLO)
- A Reno Police Department officer was shot in the western part of the city on Sunday night when responding to a "suspicious circumstance" at the Sky Valley Drive apartment complex. Multiple shots were exchanged between two males and two police officers, and all but one officer was struck by gunfire. A male and the police officer who were shot were taken to the hospital for treatment. The other male who was shot was pronounced dead on the scene. (KTVN)
