- All flights were grounded for hours on Wednesday morning at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport due to a nationwide computer system outage. Late Tuesday night, one of the safety systems used by the Federal Aviation Administration went offline, grounding flights across the United States. (FoxReno.com)
- A south Reno garden center suffered thousands of dollars of damage from flooding when a nearby ditch overflowed after Monday's heavy rainstorm. On Tuesday, county crews used heavy equipment to clear debris from the flooded ditch. The owner of the Old Stone House Gift & Garden said that the business would have to pay for repairs out of pocket because it is ineligible to get flood insurance due to being located in a known floodplain. - A 19-vehicle crash shut down the northbound I-580 lane on Galena Bridge on Tuesday evening. No injuries were reported from the impact, and traffic was rerouted. (KRNV)

- The median home price in the Reno-Sparks area has fallen to its lowest point since May 2021 due to rising interest rates. Prices in Reno went down 6 percent between November and December of last year, just as interest rates rose to 7.08 percent between October and November. (Reno Gazette Journal)
