  1. Today marks the start of Deck The Halls, a holiday shopping, eating, and entertainment extravaganza at the Reno Public Market (RPM) West Hall. The event marks the first time shoppers will be able to explore the market’s new West Hall. Part of the RPM Food Hall, which officially opens in January, will also be available for shoppers to explore during the Deck The Halls event. Visit the link to view the complete event schedule.   2. The Reno Children’s Center has officially opened, offering families a new option for pediatric autism therapy in Reno. The center specializes in applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, which uses positive reinforcement to encourage positive behaviors in children on the spectrum. The center includes 12 therapy rooms, a gym, and a calming room. (KOLO)
  3. The City of Reno has sent letters to candidates and property owners with deadlines to take down campaign signs now that the Midterm elections are over. The letters allegedly warn that if the signs are not removed by the designated date, code enforcement will issue citations to the parties involved. The city’s current rule mandates that signs be removed 95 days after installation. (KOLO)
