- Members of the Reno community are invited to meet the two finalists in the running to become the city's next chief of police. Chief Christopher Crawforth of the Sparks Police Department and Deputy Chief Kathryn Nance of the Stockton Police Department will be at a meet and greet next Thursday, Dec. 15, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Neil Road Recreation Center. - An unnamed victim was hospitalized Thursday following a stabbing near the area of Enterprise and Valley around 8:30 a.m. The Reno Police Department is investigating the incident but says there is no ongoing threat to the Reno community. (KOLO)
