  1. The Nevada Department of Transportation plans to host virtual public information meetings to gather public feedback on the department's plans for improvement projects on U.S. 395 in Reno's North Valleys. The meetings will run from Feb. 21 to Mar. 7, and the public is invited to make comments before 5 p.m. on Mar. 7. (KOLO)
  2. City of Reno Fire Chief David Cochran will be required to undergo ethics training after the Nevada Commission on Ethics ruled that Cochran willfully violated ethics laws. Cochran appeared in a campaign ad for recently re-elected Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto while wearing his fire chief badge. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
  3. The property owner of the Rancharrah Equestrian Center in Reno has requested a zoning change. Currently, the land is zoned under the park, greenway, and open space designation of the city's zoning code, and the owner is requesting to have it rezoned under the suburban mixed-use designation. The owner emphasized that the rezoning request would not impact the hose boarding and training facility but would instead open up the land for high-density residential property development.
