Here are the top three stories today in Reno:
- The Reno man killed in a crash on I-80 east of Sparks back in October has been identified. 28-year-old Reno resident Stephan Adams was struck in his vehicle by a van trying to pass him. The cars collided, and Adams' vehicle spun out through the unprotected median before it was hit by a Hyundai Sonata. Adams was pronounced dead at the scene. (KRNV)
- The Reno Police Department is offering a $1,500 reward in connection with a hit-and-run on Stead Boulevard. According to officials, an elderly man was hit at 3:30 a.m. south of Lear Boulevard. The driver did not stop, and officers are still looking for information regarding their identity. The elderly pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Anyone with any information should contact the police. (Reno Police Department via Facebook)
- The Reno Rodeo Foundation is holding a Denim Drive. 100 percent of donations will go to helping abused, neglected, and abandoned children. The event is taking place now through Dec. 31. Click here to learn more about the drive and to find collection locations. (Reno Rodeo Foundation)
