  1. The Reno Tahoe International Airport has announced that it will now be offering non-stop flights to Austin and Houston in Texas. The new flights are being offered as part of an ongoing effort to expand air services for customers. Flights to Houston will be three and a half hours. Flights will run daily to both locations throughout the winter season. (KOLO)
  2. The first menorah candle was lit last night at City Plaza to celebrate Hanukkah. The lighting was performed by Rabbi Mendel Cunin of Chabad of Northern Nevada. People of all faiths were welcome at the event, which featured live music and traditional hora dancing. Delicious holiday food and drinks were also served. (This Is Reno)
  3. The Reno Fire Department hosted its annual Children's Holiday Party this Sunday. Children got to fill bags with presents to take home, such as stuffed animals and action figures. Over 60 local children received gifts at the event. The Children's Holiday Party has been a tradition since 2001. (KOLO)
