  1. A Reno man was charged with murder on Wedekind Road. Ray McBride, 33, was charged with open murder with a deadly weapon, being a prohibited person possessing a gun, and child endangerment. At around 11:00 p.m. police arrived at the 1600 block of Wedekind Road where they found a man who had been shot. He was declared dead at the scene. (KKOH)
  2. Reno continued to be battered by vicious winter storms. Officials are warning of potential flooding, particularly around the Truckee River. The Sparks Police HOPE Team has been providing river safety and information since the storms began. They particularly focus on providing homeless members of the community with shelter during the dangerous weather. (KTVN)
  3. Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition after a snow-plow accident over the weekend. According to reports, the 51-year-old "Avengers" actor was helping a stranded car outside his home before being run over by his own vehicle. The actor is currently hospitalized with orthopedic and chest injuries. (KCRA Sacramento)
