Here are the top three stories in Reno today:

  1. The Reno Police Department helped capture two members of the Oak Park Blood gang. While assisting the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, the department – along with the DEA, U.S. Marshalls, and Las Vegas Metro Police Department – was able to help with the capture of Treygee Tagami, 28, and Leslie Rogers, 30. After searching for eight months, the sheriff's office was able to arrest Rogers in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Tagami in West Sacramento. (KOLO)
  2. If your commute through the Spanish Springs area came to a halt yesterday afternoon, it was due to a rollover accident. Around 1:20 p.m., the accident occurred on Pyramid Highway at Disc Drive entering Spanish Springs. Sparks police and highway patrol urged people to take alternate routes. The accident, which blocked all northbound lanes, was cleared by 3:05 p.m. (Subscription: Reno Gazette Journal)
  3. Members of the Reno Police Department delivered over 100 toys on Friday morning. With the help of community members, the department was able to give the toys to less fortunate children living in motels across Reno. The department was assisted by private donors, The ROW, Jacobs Entertainment, and Toys for Tots. (KRNV)
