  1. The search for the new Reno chief of police has narrowed down to two finalists. Chief Christopher Crawforth from the Sparks Police Department and Deputy Chief Kathryn Nance from the Stockton Police Department were selected as finalists. The City of Reno plans to host a community meet and greet soon. (KRNV)
  2. Two local nonprofits are collecting bike donations for children for Christmas. The Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada and the Reno Bike Project are encouraging locals to donate new or used bikes for children and small adults. Donations can be dropped off at any St. Vincent's Thrift Store. (This Is Reno)
  3. Five people looking to start new businesses presented their pitches in a presentation like Shark Tank. The presenters hope to receive $100,000 in seed capital from the Gener8tor Nevada Accelerator's inaugural event. (KOLO)
