14 NH Private Companies Named Among Fastest-Growing In U.S.: Report

NEW HAMPSHIRE — Many private companies nationwide — and in New Hampshire — have been thriving for the past three years despite the aftereffects of the pandemic, according to a new Inc.com list that ranks their revenue growth.

The ranking of the top 5,000 private companies demonstrates a 208 percent median growth, 874,947 jobs added, 498 companies newly founded, and 3,165 repeat honorees nationwide, Inc.com said. In New Hampshire, the private companies on the list had a 260 percent median growth, 633 jobs added, two companies newly founded, and seven repeat honorees.

These companies "thrived in spite of the pandemic, inflation, and supply chain woes" and "show where the economy is going," Inc.com said.

No. 3,255: Market Square Architects in Portsmouth — 150 percent increase

No. 3,481: Cookson Communications in Manchester — 138 percent increase

No. 3,855: Marshall Scientific in Hampton — 120 percent increase

No. 4,054 : Freedom Logistics in Auburn — 111 percent increase
