New Hampshire Residents Reveal Their #1 Dream Spot To Spread Ashes

NEW HAMPSHIRE — Mount Washington is New Hampshire's top location to spread ashes, according to a survey of 3,000 people conducted by Choice Mutual.

The ranking is based on a hypothetical question — Where would you have your ashes spread if there were no restrictions? — and doesn't take into account laws, regulations and permit permissions for spreading ashes in specific locations, the insurance agency noted.

But the results of the survey do give us an idea of some of the places Granite State residents hold closest to their hearts.

Here are the top three locations chosen by New Hampshire residents asked where they would like their ashes to be spread, plus the analysis provided by Choice Mutual.

#1: Mount Washington
