New Info Sought In 2020 Killing Of New Hampshire Teen
Michael Kenneth Mowry III was found dead inside his bedroom in Rochester, New Hampshire, in August 2020.

ROCHESTER, NH — Investigators are seeking new information about the 2o2o Labor Day weekend homicide of a 19-year-old from Rochester, New Hampshire.
Michael Kenneth Mowry III was found dead inside his bedroom in his home on Monroe Drive, where he was shot in the neck in a home invasion robbery carried out overnight on Aug. 30, 2020, by four men wearing masks, according to the New Hampshire Department of Justice.

Investigators have identified the vehicle in which the masked men fled the scene, and now believe the men have ties to the Haverhill, Massachusetts or the greater Merrimack Valley area of northeastern Massachusetts.

Other young residents living at the home with Mowry have been interviewed and are not considered suspects by law enforcement, investigators added.
"Mikie was a generous and loving kid who cherished his family, especially his three younger brothers, who really looked up to him," Mowry's mother, Aimee Lussier, said Monday. "He was incredibly affectionate and gave the best hugs. When we told him we loved him, he always responded, 'I love you more.'"

Lussier continued: "He had just moved into his first apartment and had everything to look forward to. He loved playing baseball and was in talks with a coach from Great Bay about playing for their team. Now, we will never see him play baseball or witness the adult he would have grown into. The agony of his murder has been unbearable, made even harder because we don’t know who did this or why."
