NH Fish And Game And Police Find Man Lost In Northwood Meadows
A runner from Orlando, FL calls 911 for assistance after getting lost. Conservation Officers used cell phone coordinates to locate the man.

NORTHWOOD, NH - Rockingham County Dispatch received a 911 call for a lost hiker in Northwood Meadows State Park in Northwood Thursday. Upon receiving notification a New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officer and a Northwood Police Officer responded to the park to assist the hiker out of the woods at about 5:00 p.m.
The hiker was identified as Sean Van Gerena, 50 years old from Orlando FL. It was discovered that Van Gerena got separated from the trail, while on a run, and called 911 for assistance when it got dark. Van Gerena was overtaken by darkness and was not equipped with a flashlight.
Van Gerena was able to communicate by cell phone with the Conservation Officer, and was guided to a nearby trail access; where he was transported back to his vehicle at the main entrance of Northwoods Meadows State Park at 6:45 p.m.
