DURHAM, NH — New Hampshire residents are divided about President Donald Trump in the early days of his second term, with higher approval for Trump's handling of the economy than his handling of foreign affairs.

Granite Staters are deadlocked over Trump's executive order pausing foreign aid and pausing a ban on TikTok, but oppose eliminating birthright citizenship, withdrawing from the World Health Organization, and renaming the Gulf of Mexico. Granite State Republicans largely support these recent executive orders and are more optimistic about the direction of the country than at any time since 2003.
