“I was honored to help the White Birch Community Center in Henniker secure this grant to aid them in their mission to provide programs and services that support learning and active living activities for children, families, and seniors.

I remember my first visit to White Birch two years ago. I didn’t know what to expect but was amazed by the children and the professional services being offered. I was equally impressed by the number of seniors playing cards and other games. White Birch does exceptional work helping keep social networks alive to help seniors age gracefully. It was truly one of the most unique places I’ve ever experienced.

Our goal is to support communities through funding programs that benefit our children, working parents, families, and seniors.”

“White Birch Center is the cornerstone of the Henniker community. Our services and programs touch the lives of our citizens from cradle to cane. We would not be able to meet the growing demands for what we do without the financial support of organizations like The Headlands Foundation. We are very grateful to The Headlands Foundation and Senator Dan Innis for their generosity and commitment to organizations like White Birch Center,” said Marc McMurphy, Executive Director of White Birch Center
