Top New Hampshire Nurses Honored By New Hampshire Magazine

NEW HAMPSHIRE — New Hampshire Magazine is honoring more than a dozen nurses across the Granite State for their "noble work in pediatrics, education, public health and more," the magazine said Friday.

This year's recipients of the publication's Excellent in Nursing Awards, hosted annually in partnership with the New Hampshire Nurses Association, were honored during a ceremony at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord May 22.

The 2024 awards recognized nurses in 13 categories, including Academic Nurse Educator Researcher, Advanced Practice Nursing, Hospice-Palliative Care, Frontline Leader, Ambulatory Care Nursing, Emergency Nursing and more. The recipients work in facilities including Dartmouth Health, Exeter Hospital, Saint Anselm College, Concord Hospital – Laconia/Franklin, Manchester VA Medical Center, Cheshire Medical Center, North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency, Keene State College, Elliot Hospital and the City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services.

"We appreciate the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate these incredible individuals who support, comfort, guide, educate, and heal Granite State residents every day," Mike Cote, editor of New Hampshire Magazine, said Friday. "Each year, the Excellence in Nursing Awards honor the dedicated nurses who go above and beyond in their positions. We admire these recipients as they play critical roles within New Hampshire’s healthcare community."
