Amherst Man Arrested for Simple Assault and Threatening

[Tuesday, April 9]

At 1:09 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Ronald Gilbert Ribeiro, 29, of 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Ribeiro was released on $1,200 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for April 18, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 7:21 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Versee Damien Carter, 34, of 25 Pinewood Drive, Amherst, on charges of simple assault and criminal threatening. Carter was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for April 18, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Thursday, April 11]

At 1:27 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on the Route 101 eastbound off ramp to Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Ruth Wilder, 51, of Hancock, NH and  Megan Frost, 38, of Wilton.
