COP LOG: In 3 Days, Police Arrest 4, Respond to 5 Accidents

The following information was provided by the Amherst Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013

  • 12:10 a.m.: Arrested Bay Van Nguyen, 37, of 38 Franklin St., No. 4, Leominster, Mass., on a charge of willful concealment. Nguyen was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 19 at the Milford District Court.

Monday, Aug. 19, 2013

  • 12:24 p.m.: Responded to a single-vehicle accident on Route 101. Driver was Margarita Littleton, 21, of Manchester.
  • 3:45 p.m.: Responded to a two-car accident on the Route 101 eastbound off ramp to Route 101A. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Susan Geddes-Hall, 48, of Nashua, and Karyn Barretto, 51, of Amherst.
  • 4:25 p.m.: Responded to a two-car accident on Ponemah Hill Road. Drivers were David Keene, 48, of Milford, and Jaelyn Johnson, 19, of Milford. Keene was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
  • 5:45 p.m.: Arrested April Hardy, 25, of 26 Hanover St., Unit C, Nashua, on a charge of willful concealment. Hardy was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 19.
  • 5:45 p.m: Arrested Emily Carlson, age 24, of 35 Congress St., No. 30, Nashua, on a charge of willful concealment. Hardy was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 19.
  • 11 p.m.: Arrested Cory Kennison, 31, of 382 Western Ave., No. 1, Lynn, Mass., on charges of possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. Kennison was released on $1,200 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 19.

Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013

  • 8:10 a.m.: Responded to a two-car accident on the Route 101 eastbound off ramp to Route 101A. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Stuart Lebeau, 40, of New Ipswich, and Elizabeth Melanson, 25, of Milford.
  • 10:10 a.m.: Responded to a two-car accident in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Lori Schwarz, 56, of Hancock, and Lisa Ruth Palmi, 46, of Shaftsbury, Vt.
